Hi, I’m Aaron. I’m endlessly curious. I love new technology, I ask a lot of questions, and I’m always trying to understand how things actually work.
I’m a director and cinematographer who’s genuinely interested in the craft—whether that’s flying drones (licensed), shooting water cinematography, writing scripts, or turning big ideas into images. I started as an intern at a surf magazine. Twenty years later, I’ve directed, shot, written, and edited commercial and documentary projects around the world, including a feature-length documentary that screened in movie theaters globally (which still feels pretty surreal).
I believe the best work starts with listening. By asking good questions and staying curious, I’m able to understand people, goals, and stories before ever touching a camera. That approach consistently leads to content that feels thoughtful, intentional, and effective—not just visually polished.
